The purpose of the center is the identification, development and support of gifted children, ensuring the continuity of the development system of their intellectual and creative potential. The center was created taking into account the experience of the Fund for the creation and development of the Sirius educational center and taking into account the specifics and priorities of the development of the Kursk region in the field of education, science, sports and art. The opening ceremony of the center took place on December 30, 2019. But even before the official opening, the center began its work. In the 2019-2020 academic year, 72 copyright programs were implemented, according to which more than 5 thousand schoolchildren were trained in full-time and remote format. Educational and career guidance measures were carried out. In the 2020-2021 academic year, the implementation of several types of programs for gifted children continued in the center: short-term programs as part of specialized shifts; Olympiad training programs; multi -level programs implemented as part of support for the development of gifted children; thematic modular programs; Programs implemented using distance technologies. In addition, students are waiting for diverse educational and career guidance measures.
