The Petersburg hockey club SKA, following the Russian national team, announced the change of head coach. As reported on the Army website from the Neva, the Club Board of Directors approved the changes in the team headquarters. The head coach in the 2020/21 season will be Valery Bragin, who previously worked as a senior coach.
SKA thanked now the former mentor Alexei Kudashov, the trainer for the individual training of goalkeepers Marco Torenius and the IFP trainer Denis Korotyshev for their work.
According to the FCR website, Kudashov took the post of consultant to the headquarters of the national team.
SKA and the Russian team Kudashov headed since July last year. On June 5, it became known that at the post of head coach of the national team he was replaced by Valery Bragin. The specialist noted that he intends to emphasize the training of players who perform in Russia, since the next world championship can pass without NHL hockey players.
