Two universiade clusters will transfer to federal ownership in March 2019
The Krasnoyarsk Territory will transfer two universiade clusters to federal ownership – Sopka and Rainbow – after the World Winter Games in March 2019. This was announced in an interview with TASS at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum by the acting governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander of the USS.
"We will transfer these two clusters to federal ownership after the Universiade, this does not make sense before, – said the USS. Speaking about the reasons for such a transmission, the SCS added thatIt is unreasonable to use such wonderful objects only for the needs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. These objects are a national treasure and on their basis it will be possible to create a large federal training center. We have no such complexes in the world".
According to him, the Federal School of Olympic Sports will be created on the basis of clusters. We have a similar profile in Krasnoyarsk, and perhaps it will receive the status of a federal. But this issue must be coordinated both with the federal center and with the legislative assembly of the region, – said the USS.
Closter Sopka – a complex of sports facilities consisting of seven objects and intended for competitions and training in snowboarding, freestyle, haf -pipe. The cluster will have highways equipped with artificial lighting and snow formation systems, training sites for athletes, multifunctional complex, administrative buildings, and sports blocks.
Closter Rainbow – a complex of sports facilities consisting of three objects where sports and training sites in skiing and sports orientation will be organized. The cluster base will make it possible to conduct teams, conduct the training process year -round.
