A six -year -old boy was detained in the Chelyabinsk store Sportmaster. The child was accused of theft of a keychain. The security officer decided to behave in an adult way-the boy was detained, intimidated, assigned to him, and then they were taken to the police for interrogation. The kid walked along the Sportmaster in the TC Ring with his parents, and when the family began to come out, the framework of the exit worked. A security officer immediately appeared on the spot – the man announced to visitors that they were detained, and pointed to a keychain in his hand at the child. The goods were not paid.

– We apologized and offered to immediately pay for this product. The security officer replied that according to the instructions, he should detain a six -year -old child and call the police, ”the boy’s mother described the situation. – He led us to the utility room, where we were waiting for the police for 50 minutes. Also, according to the alarming button, two representatives of the private security company who were assigned to us in case we decide to run. It is difficult to describe the condition of the child with words: his lips and hands trembled, he cried, begged the employee of the Sportmaster store, Marchenko Ivan, to excuse him and not call the police. All 50 minutes during which we were waiting for the police, the child was in a state of tension, really wanted to drink, was suppressed.

The police who arrived at the place ordered to go to a minors' department. According to the woman, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs allowed to carry a child in his own car, since there was no children's chair in the service car. But the mother itself was put in a police car. In the district department, the child explained that the keychain was not going to steal. He thought that his mother would go to the box office, and simply did not have time to tell his parents that he had taken the goods.

– Then they interrogated me, composed two explanatory ones, after which they explained that in this situation there was no corpus delicti and the child did not do this intentionally. We were safely released after two and a half hours, ”mother added.

The city Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the incident.

“Last night, a message was received from the sportswear store that people with unpaid goods were caught,” the Chelyabinsk police press service commented. – The district police officer went to the place. He invited his parents to travel for a summer residence in the police department for minors. They agreed. There the family was interviewed and subsequently released.There were no grounds for initiating business.

Lawyer Mikhail Kiriyenko believes that from the point of view of the law, employees of the security department did not violate anything, but they still went too far.

– If they tried to take unpaid goods from the store, they [guards] should take measures. Of course, they did not have the right to detain someone, but they could call police officers, which they did, ”the lawyer commented. – Give the opportunity to pay at the checkout after an attempt to take out the goods was recorded, the store is not obliged. But, on the other hand, you should always observe the balance and look at circumstances. In this case, it seems to me that the company's employees overdo it a little.
