In Khimki near Moscow, the Khimki – basketball extension – Basketball Country. The first event within the framework of the action took place at school No. 31. During the meeting, the players held a basketball lesson, taught the guys to understand the rules and played a ticket for the match.
“Basketball Country” is a new project of the Khimki basketball club. Representatives of the Basketball Academy Miron Lebedev, Kirill Studenikin, Georgy Vasiliev, Dmitry Karbuzov and Vladislav Lonekov held the first meeting in the season.
Together with the guys, the players and coaches of the Khimki BC learned chants and held a master class with a fan inventory. The meeting ended with a basketball match among the school teams Akula and Hammer. The winners got tickets for the match between the leaders of the Championship of the Unified League of VTB Khimki – UNICS.
In the new game season, the Khimki BC players will hold several meetings with schoolchildren of the region. Events of this format will be held every two weeks. Within the framework of the Basketball Office campaign, players will meet with schoolchildren from Mytishch and other cities of the region.
