Convenient routes – more opportunities: what can change in the work of public transport in the area
As part of the tasks of the governor, work is underway to improve passenger traffic within the municipality. In this matter, the funds of local authorities and the resources of the regional budget are very limited, however, thanks to the support of the regional government, it is possible to make some adjustments to the bus schedule, the number of routes and the class of vehicles.
On behalf of the governor, in all municipalities, meetings of working groups on the modernization of municipal routes were held with the obligatory participation of local residents, and the heads of administrations themselves were urged to personally check how the route lines work, inquiring about the opinion of passengers along the way.
Representatives of carriers were present in the working groups: in this way, the population got the opportunity to directly express their claims and wishes to transport companies. Based on the results of this constructive dialogue, it was possible to develop proposals for the Ministry of Transport on changing the parameters of routes operating on the territory of the Leninsky district. In particular, the adjustment of the schedule, the introduction of additional flights and the replacement of the class of vehicles.

– We are opening new routes, we are building a lot of microdistricts, a lot of housing is being built, you know, in the Moscow region. And people often demand and talk about the need for more convenient routes. Therefore, we always change, always look at the requests of residents and make the routes as convenient as possible for a person.
Alexey GERZHIK, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region:
– On behalf of Governor Andrei Vorobyov, working groups on transport should be created in all municipalities of the Moscow Region. It is the proposals of the working group that will become the basis for measures to improve the transport situation in the region. Some of the main proposals are to adjust the schedule, introduce additional flights and change the class of vehicles.
