Shadowlands Anima Conduit and its function in your covenant hall

Anima conductors control and direct anime flows to the key locations of your carpet. The streams of anime, like power lines, are the ancient course of the mysterious force of anime, which permeates all the dark lands. Due to the drought of anime, these flows ceased to work properly. Improving the anime guide that is located in your Kovenant’s monastery, you can direct anime flows by opening new daily and local tasks, treasures, elite opponents and amplification for your carpet members.

All anime conductors in each monastery work the same and open the same improvements. Minor differences, depending on the Covenant, will be mentioned.

The location of the conductors of the anime

Each of the four conductors of the anime is located in its monastery of the Covenant. This is always a large structure, next to which there is NPC, which gives out tasks related to the conductor anime. The location of all guides and their assistants:

  • Night people: the heart of the forest (47.5, 64.7, the lower level) – Cecilia (50.6, 62.3);
  • Kiria: Elysian citadel (38.3, 68.9) – Kafiy (37.9, 67.5);
  • Necrolorces: Primas's throne (49.8, 34.5) – Yondar evil eye (49.1, 35.9);
  • RENIES: KROOPAD (46.9, 54.7, level 2) – device (49.3, 58.9).

Improving anime conductors

As soon as you choose your first carpet, the anime guide will be disconnected. Until you improve it to the first level, you will not be able to direct the anime flows in the location, in other words, you will not be able to activate the tasks that the anime conductor opens. The first thing to do is make resources to unlock the anime guide.

To do this, visit the NPC, responsible for improving the monster:

  • Night people: the heart of the forest – Zaichemed Builder (38.6, 55.3, lower level);
  • Kiria: Elysian citadel – Aefiy (42.6, 52.4);
  • Necrolorda: Primas's throne – Arkady MOA (52.7, 38.3);
  • RENSIONS: SIND – Flat Fall Farm (55.7, 25.9).

This NPC will show that you can improve how much time it will take, and also how many resources are required for this. The conductor has three levels:

  • Growing web (1 hour) – stored anima X2000; Thirsty soul x1;
  • Stretching threads (12 hours) – a stored anima X5000; Thirsty soul x8;
  • Current energy (24 hours) – stored anima x10000; Thirsty soul x22.

Each level of improvement opens two places on the locations of the Covenant, to which one anime stream can be sent from the monastery daily. When interacting with an anime conductor at the first level, its interface will open, on which you will be invited to choose one of two places in which of them to send anyma stream. By pointing to each place, you can read its description, and see what awards you can get there.At the bottom of the anima explorer window, you can see a scale with ten marks. Each time you improve the Anima Conduit, as well as directing the Anima flows to different places, you will fill this gauge.

In addition to the cost of upgrading the Anima Conduit, it costs 25 Anima Reserve to direct the Anima Flow to a specific location. Periodically, previously directed Anima Streams will be closed, requiring an additional 25 Anima Stock to restart (and strengthen) the Stream and restore access to the location. By strengthening the flow, you can get permanent access to the content in this place, but we will talk about this a little later.

Level 1: Growing Web

After the improvement of the anima conductor to the first level is completed, you can take the task to activate it, according to which you will be sent to this very conductor. There will be a scroll in front of it, using which you will activate the anima explorer, opening up full access to it. (When using the scroll, a small animation will play, very much reminiscent of those when building the buildings of the Garrison in Warlords of Draenor). The names of these tasks for each covenant are:

  • Night Fae: Root Restoration Thirsty Roots;
  • Kyrie: “All that remains” “Power of the sky”;
  • Necrolords: “Power Restoration” “Tower Supply”;
  • Venthyri: Sanctuary Upgrade: Anima Conduit Endless Flow.

On the first level of the Anima Conduit, the player will be prompted to direct the anima flow to one of two covenant locations. You can send no more than one stream and no more than once a day. The start of a new day occurs at the standard time of the daily server restart (In Europe, it occurs at 10:00 Moscow time).

Each of these two streams opens up its own opportunity. The first opens access to a unique treasure, and the second allows you to fight with an enemy hero.

This enemy hero is summoned by an item that can only be seen by players who have channeled anima into the same area.

Each feature can be seen on the Anima Explorer map, but as soon as you open the stream and leave your covenant abode, you will notice new markers on your map.

  • Glimmer Cascades Basin – Channels the Aniu into Glimmer Cascades Basin, opening the way to a unique treasure.
  • Dreamsong Grove – Guides the anima into the Dreamsong Grove, allowing it to fight an enemy hero.
  • Pinnacle of Purity – Guides the anima to the Pinnacle of Purity, opening the way to a unique treasure.
  • Temple of Courage – Channels an anima into the Temple of Courage, allowing it to fight an enemy hero.
  • House of the Chosen – Channels the anima into the House of the Chosen, opening the way to a unique treasure.
  • Cadaver House – Channel anima into the Cadaver House, allowing it to fight an enemy hero.
  • Crypt of the Forgotten – Guides the anima into the Crypt of the Forgotten, opening the way to a unique treasure.
  • Shadow Crypt Hill – Directs the anima to the Shadow Crypt Hill, allowing it to fight an enemy hero.

Unique Treasure

By opening the flow to the appropriate location, the location of the unique treasure will be revealed to you and other similar players, but this does not mean that it will be easy to get!

For example, for the Venthyr, the treasure is in the Crypt of the Forgotten. The marker will indicate the exact place, you will come to it and … you will find a snag. By clicking on the tombstone, your eyes will open a path of ghostly tombstones, along which you need to climb very carefully to the real treasure.

Shadowlands Anima Conduit and its function in your covenant hall

There are several important points here:

Since the path is littered with ghostly tombstones, it is not very smooth, so it is very easy to stumble and fall down like a stone.

When the path leads you to the nearby ruins, you will have to go over the bottomless abyss along a rather difficult road. Fortunately, not all the way consists of such abysses. Depending on the path that has appeared, you have VERY little time to start walking along the tombstones to the treasure, because as soon as time runs out, all the tombstones will disappear, and at that time you may well be above that very abyss.

You simply won't be able to cheat the game and use movement abilities like Heroic Leap on the ruins and take shortcuts as you won't have anything to grab onto.

If time runs out, you can always use the tombstone again and try again. Having picked up the treasure, it will be possible to search it again only the next day if you once again direct the flow of anima to the same place.

The contents of the treasure are very similar to what you get for questing in your covenant hall – anima, random items of unusual quality, as well as common items for sale.

Enemy Hero

The enemy hero is represented by a rare level 61 elite enemy. There are several varieties of them, killing which you can earn achievements from the category “Adventurer in @Location Name@”. You can summon and kill such opponents indefinitely, but the prey from such an enemy will fall only once per day.

For the most part, loot comes in the form of anima, common and uncommon items, and items that disappear after use, but there are a few exceptions.

  • Night Fae: Visit Swiftdew in the Starpool Amphitheater to summon one of several opponents. If Quickdew is not active, even if your anima guide is sent to Dreamsong Grove, re-entering the game should fix the issue. We will talk about the amphitheater itself a little later.
  • Kyrian: In the Temple of Courage at 41.7, 54.6, you can use the Forge of Courage to summon Wingwing the Cruel.
  • Necrolords: In the Cadaver house at 31.6, 35.3, use the Last Thread to summon Giger, from which you can get a Predatory Plague Roc.
  • Venthyri: To do this, you need to fulfill several conditions. Bring to Filthborn Artisan (46.79) two tools to fix the ballista. Tools can be found at coordinates 40.8, 27.7 and 41.2, 74.7. Then, at coordinates 43.2, 77.6, pick up a ballista projectile that needs to be taken to the Wingwing (46.2, 77.8), and knock out a rare creature, Harika the Terrifying, with which you can get a Dread Dreadwing mount with some chance.

Star Lake Amphitheater

“Battles” in the amphitheater are represented by “performances”, participating in which you can get several awards. Also here are the conditions for the Ardenweald Adventurer and Ardenweald Scaffolding achievements.

After playing a few shows, you will be able to purchase rewards from Senior Salorn Servant for gold, pet tokens, or anima. Here you can buy: the Slurping as G’huun and Lystador pets, the weapon illusion, the Aspect of the Elk skin, and the Silky Glimmer Moth flying mount. Here is a list of available performances:

Level 2: Stretching Threads

The trailing threads open up two more places where the anima can flow. As before, each stream costs 25 Anima Stockpiles, and you can only open one per day.

Shadowlands Anima Conduit and its function in your covenant hall

As soon as you leave the covenant hall, you will immediately notice changes on the map.

A new world quest will appear, which can only be completed by the character of yours who opened it. It does not apply to your entire account, even to alternate characters from the same covenant.

Daily quests will be displayed on the map with a blue exclamation mark. There will be from one to two such tasks every day and they do not count towards the calls of the covenant.

  • Tirna Vaal – Channel an anima into Tirna Vaal, unlocking a new World Quest.
  • Sleeping Hollow – Channel anima into Sleeping Hollow, unlocking new daily quests.
  • Shrine of Humility – Channel an anima into the Shrine of Humility, unlocking a new World Quest.
  • Eternal Forge – Channel anima into the Eternal Forge, unlocking new daily quests.
  • House of the Plague – Guides the anima to the House of the Plague, unlocking a new World Quest.
  • House of Eyes – Guides the anima to the House of Eyes, unlocking new daily quests.
  • Reaper Square – Directs the anima to Reaper Square, unlocking a new World Quest.
  • Graveyard of Pride – Directs the anima to the Graveyard of Pride, unlocking new daily quests.

Level 3: Current Energy

The current energy opens up the last two places where the anima can be sent. The latest upgrade will unlock the ability to challenge a powerful foe and unlock powerful covenant power-ups. Boosts can be selected once per day.

Mighty Opponents

Each covenant can summon a powerful opponent. At the moment, not all the names of such opponents are known to us.

  • Kirii – Eliminator Sotiros and Larion Rider Orst. To summon them, use the Black Bell in the Citadel of Loyalty (22.7, 22.9).

Covenant Boosts

Once per day, a character can receive a buff that will only work in the home zone of the selected covenant. This is a very strong buff that lasts for 24 hours and does not disappear on death, is not removed by fear, stunned, shapeshifting, cannot be canceled, and does not break the stealth effect.

These buffs can be obtained from the Eternal Archives. To get to the top of the archives, use the portal located at the coordinates (39.5, 19.0)

Keep in mind: if the “Forward to Up” world quest is active, you will need to get to the archives by alternative means; using a glider or simply completing this task. The problem is that while this local quest is in effect, the portal will be unavailable.

  • Kaelius the Harmonious (40.2, 19.3): Bell of Clarity – When you stack 4 or more enemies together, your damaging spells and abilities have a chance for 15 sec. summon the Bell of Clarity. • Zevian the Vigilant (40.4, 19.2): Sage's Watch – When you fall below 30% health, Reborn fully heals you and damages and knocks back nearby enemies. This reduces the damage you take by 100%, but the effect decays rapidly over 3 seconds. Works no more than once every 5 minutes.

Necrolord Buffs:

These enhancements can be obtained in the house of rituals. Keep in mind that this zone is well protected both on the approaches to it and inside it.

When your health drops below 50%, it will shatter, knocking back nearby enemies and for 5 minutes. shielding you for 50% of your health. Works no more than once every 10 minutes. Cooldown is reduced by 10 seconds. every time you land a killing blow.

Fan reinforcements:

These buffs can be obtained at the Veteran Hideout. To get here, you will have to break through with a fight, or sneak past the opponents.

  • Guardian Wizard (22, 55.6): Anima Lust – When health drops below 0%, damaging spells and abilities have a high chance to stun the enemy for 5 sec, healing you for 10% of your maximum health every second and dealing the same amount of damage to the enemy. Doesn't fire more than once per minute.

Anima Flow Amplification

In the Anima Explorer, you can increase the Anima flow to the selected location, making it permanent, thereby no longer having to pour the Reserved Anima every day.

Each time you channel anima, you earn one bar of the gauge, which can be found at the bottom of the anima explorer interface. Once all ten bars are full, you will have the option to boost the flow, which will instantly consume all ten bars, but make the anima flow permanent. Then, you will again need to accumulate this scale. It takes a minimum of 10 days and 500 Stocked Anima to make one flow permanent.

Shadowlands Anima Conduit and its function in your covenant hall

If you want to increase the flow, you first need to choose the place that you want to increase.

Anima Flow Gain Priority

First, you should buff the place that opens up the covenant buffs. While these effects only last while you're at your covenant's home location, you'll spend quite a bit of time there completing summons and world quests. Having a strengthening of the covenant on hand, this will greatly facilitate your life and speed up the completion of all necessary tasks.

Next buff the anima flows to the locations that unlock new world quests and daily quests. There are not many of them on the map anyway, they will not be superfluous for sure. Also, daily quests will allow you to get exalted with the faction faster.

And only then we advise you to open the flow to a unique treasure (which does not bring so much benefit, which has already become a tradition), an enemy hero and a powerful opponent. You can get a mount from one of the enemy heroes (from the Venthirs), but the task itself is not very pleasant to complete. Mighty opponents require the help of other equipped players, so the flow to this place should be strengthened last.
