Before the start of the 19th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL), active fans of almost all clubs announced the beginning of a large-scale protest action. In particular, the fans of Spartak, Lokomotiv, Zenit and CSKA – leaders of the Russian championship, as well as Dynamo, Rubin, Arsenal and Rostov joined her.

This was a response to the actions of law enforcement agencies in St. Petersburg, who on December 1 conducted mass detention of fans of Spartak before the match with Zenit. According to media reports, some fans were taken to the “for nothing” department, although the arrests were called “preventive measures” in the St. Petersburg Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the police were once again recognized as professional.

“We want to attract general attention to the problem when the Russian fan is perceived only as a criminal, and confirmation of this can be found at any match in any city in Russia. We want to express our fan solidarity to everyone who touched this problem! ” – said in the statement of the association of the fans of Zenit Landskron. They were the first to announce the protest, after which a message was published from the “Fratria” – a group of fans of Spartak.

As a result, the Zenitsky ultras left the Gazprom Arena stadium in the 40th minute of the meeting against Dynamo, leaving the banner with the words: The fan is not a criminal. Before that, they actively supported the team, and after the match, the head coach of the blue-white-blue Sergey Semak thanked the club fans. The action was supported by the fans of Lokomotiv and Arsenal, who left the Tula Arena in the 30th minute of the game. And during the break of the match with Krasnodar, the stands were empty, on which CSKA fans sat.

Red-white fans will be present at the match until the 30th minute. In their statement, they recalled that cases of manifestation of unreasonable cruelty in relation to active fans arose many times. “A chain of such events does not look accidental and suggests that each of us may be in the police department, regardless of age and club colors. We urge all fans to express our disagreement with what is happening, expressing our support to all illegally detained fans and clearly demonstrate how football can be without those who are so actively fighting the order of the order, ”Fraria said.

Together with other fans of Spartak in St. Petersburg, Valery Bevza was arrested-one of the leaders of the red and white movement and starting the fan tribune. He received a fine and a ban on visiting matches for a year and a half. It was he, according to law enforcement agencies, who organized the injury of Zenit striker and the Russian national team Artem Dziuba. He was insulted during the match with Spartak, as well as during the meeting of the national teams of Russia and San Marino (5: 0) and during the game of the 17th round of the RPL between Ural and Spartak (0: 0). The attacker was chanted: Dziuba, Dziuba, go ***** [away].

The trainer Edgard Zapashny, commenting on the behavior of the obscene fans in the stands, on December 6 said: “I would introduce riot police,“ crumble ”these fans. I would turn the parts of the body. And tomorrow they would talk to you. In response to this, Spartak fans wrote a statement to him in the UK.

In the summer, Russian fans twice faced unreasonable and unjustifiably gesture actions of riot police

Fratria reminded that in July this year, the fans of Spartak were brutally beaten by OMON employees. “We cannot turn a blind eye to the events that had previously happened to us in Rostov, where we encountered aggression by local riot police. In addition, we cannot ignore the fact that fans and other teams regularly fall into such situations that go beyond laws, ”the association said. The leadership of Spartak also outraged the unreasonable application to the fans of rough physical strength.

The Zenit fans were also involved in the conflict with the riot police. During the break of the match, a group of fans went to smoke, but stumbled upon the fences and tried to push them away. As a result, a brawl began. After the match, a criminal case was opened, during his investigation several people were detained. Another 17 fans were brought to administrative responsibility.
