The head coach and founder of Viking – Ratko Sedlar, Serb by origin. He began, like a football player, played for eight years, then met Crossfit. Passion for sports led him to several competitions, as well as to open a fitness room.

Crossfit is a relatively new direction that includes many types of physical activity. This includes exercises with weights, cardio, heavy and light athletics.

The traditional model for fitness clubs is a model of trial lesson – the first visit to free. This helps to choose a comfortable place for yourself, understand the presence of the necessary simulators and get acquainted with the coach. Ratko invites everyone to the first lesson and talks about who will be interested in fitness.

We have three group classes. This is OFP-Start, OFP-LITE and OFP-Gila. They differ in a set of exercise. There are two groups for children, one for children from 5 to 9 years old, the second for older children, up to 14 years old. We select the program based on physical training, the coach says.

OFP start is suitable for people who have never been engaged in physical exertion and training, or have been engaged in them for a long time. In this course, classes take place with their weight. OFP -Light – to support their shape and muscle tone, a little weight is added. OFP -Wila – for targeted physical development, exercises with a bar, weights, dumbbells, cabins are connected here, and the training themselves differ in high intensity. All classes, regardless of the level, begin with a simple warm -up and stretch.

Regular physical exercises positively affect the tone, metabolism, energy and general well -being and mood of a person. Physical education classes are also an excellent prevention of viral diseases.

Classes are distinguished by their diversity. The training program for the day is compiled from the exercise group for a specific goal – stretching, warm -up, strength, cardiopulmonary work. The exercises themselves have options for different levels of physical training. Ratko noted that the exercise is enough for them to be repeated at a maximum of once in a week.

An example of a program for training

You can engage in both individually and under the supervision of a coach. Now there are three coaches in the hall.

Many go to play sports, but they do not have a technique for performing the exercise. If, for example, anyone's run along the teeth, then starting with any equipment you need a technique. The coach monitors the correctness of the exercise to avoid injuries. The coach also draws up a training program. Many do not have it. The presence of a coach brings clear goals in training to achieve and additional motivation.

The hall opened recently. This means that all the equipment is fresh and new, the load of coaches and the hall is small, and the plans for the future are ambitious.

The plans to put a treadmill, Assaulte Bike (an additional traffic bike with an additional load on hand) and a rowing simulator (imitates a boat descent). On weekends, I want a free event for visitors to the hall, without much regulations – just to meet, chat, play badminton and table tennis. – said Ratko

Also in plans to add three more directions, but the coach modestly silent about the details.

The fact that the hall is on the basis of PL No. 33 adds an unusual element for fitness rooms. The institution has several halls on several floors. While group classes are held in these halls – children are engaged in one room, and parents are engaged in the other. In addition to shower, in the locker rooms there is a sauna with a pool nearby. It is not included in the price of the subscription, but if necessary, you can agree with the coach for the lease.

Since now, due to quarantine restrictions, a complete ban on the work of fitness rooms is possible, we asked the coach about plans.

There are currently no prohibitions to work as the halls. We simply work in accordance with the requirements of the regional Rospotrebnadzor. And it's too early for us to think about 10 people at once. But if a ban is released, we will freeze the subscription so that after its cancellation, visitors can continue to engage. In extreme cases, we can return the cost of unused time, says Ratko.
